“The first thing you need to know about BALLS is simple: yes, this is serious. And yes, it actually plays. YoYoFactory basically took two almost perfectly round aluminum halves and turned them into a functioning unresponsive YoYo.
Obviously, this is not a clinically optimized competition tool. It is absurdly wide, unusually heavy and makes technical tricks considerably more demanding. But that is exactly why it is fun: familiar tricks suddenly require a slightly different approach – while the YoYo looks completely ridiculous.”

A joke – but not a toy

The concept could hardly be simpler: two round aluminum balls form a YoYo. That geometry is exactly what makes BALLS so absurd visually and so interesting to play.

The extreme overall width gives you lots of physical area around the string, but much of that width sits outside the actual catch zone. Dense technical tricks therefore feel completely different compared with a conventional performance design.

It genuinely works

Underneath the unusual shape is a modern unresponsive setup with a Center Trac bearing and slim response pads.

BALLS is therefore more than a display piece. If you know how to Bind, you can play real combos on it – just with a YoYo that may force you to rethink a few familiar movements.
