Mega Monster

YoYoFactory MEGA MONSTER – extra wide for big tricks

Dave’s opinion

“What interests me most about the MEGA MONSTER is its enormous width: It invites you to think bigger with familiar tricks and explore new movements.
If you enjoy experimenting with hops, hooks, wide string catches and horizontal tricks, this concept is particularly appealing. The stainless steel rings add exactly enough rim weight to suit the wide format. An interesting option for players who already know the bind and deliberately want something unusual.”

• Extra-wide profile → plenty of room for string catches and dynamic tricks

• 6061 aluminium with stainless steel rings → bimetal construction for spin power and stability

• Designed with horizontal play in mind → interesting for demanding combos beyond the usual playing plane

• Unresponsive with a string-centering Center Trac bearing → a modern string trick setup with bind return

As wide as its diameter

The MEGA MONSTER continues YoYoFactory’s tradition of exceptionally wide yoyos such as the SUPERWIDE and MONSTER. At approximately 58 mm wide and 58 mm in diameter, it has a distinctive H-profile. Its wide catch zone gives you plenty of room when landing the yoyo on the string, including in hop and rail combos.

Width meets bimetal power

The body is made from 6061 aluminium, complemented by stainless steel weight rings. This construction places weight around the outside and is designed for long spins and stability. That is particularly relevant to horizontal tricks: the MEGA MONSTER combines its striking size with a complete setup for advanced play.

The size makes it a deliberate choice. If you want a compact yoyo to carry around, a smaller model is more practical. If you want to explore a spacious string trick setup and give your tricks a different dimension, the MEGA MONSTER offers exactly that approach.
