iYoYo Pro Glove – less friction during fast YoYo tricks

Dave Geigle, 5-time European YoYo Champion

Dave’s take

“A YoYo glove is definitely not essential – but during long practice sessions, fast combos and tricks with lots of string contact, it can make playing much more comfortable.
Our iYoYo glove is intentionally very thin. The string can slide more easily across your fingers while you still keep enough feeling to control the YoYo precisely. Especially once fast string movement starts becoming uncomfortable on your skin, you really notice the difference.”

Dave Geigle · 5-time European YoYo Champion · Playing since 1997
  • Less friction on your fingers → helps the YoYo string slide more smoothly across your hand during fast movements

  • Very thin nylon → protects your hand without unnecessarily reducing your feel for the string and YoYo

  • Ideal for intensive sessions → particularly comfortable during long combos and repeated practice

  • Full 5-finger design → covers the complete playing hand rather than protecting only individual fingers

Perfect for you if …

  • you practise for long or particularly intensive sessions
  • fast-moving string starts to feel uncomfortable on your fingers
  • you play fast combos with lots of string contact
  • you want a very thin glove while keeping plenty of feel for the string
  • you simply want a little more comfort for your playing hand during practice

Why use a YoYo glove?

You will normally not need a glove while learning slow basic tricks. As your play becomes faster and your sessions get longer, however, the string increasingly moves across your fingers and hand at speed.

During fast string tricks, long combos or intensive practice sessions, that friction can eventually become uncomfortable. A thin YoYo glove creates a smooth layer between the string and your skin, helping the string slide more easily across your fingers.

Thin rather than padded

The iYoYo Pro Glove is made from thin nylon. That matters for YoYo play: while a thick glove could also protect your hand, it would take away much of the feeling you need for the string and YoYo.

The thin construction therefore combines reduced friction with direct string feel, making it particularly useful for advanced players and intensive practice sessions.

The glove features a full 5-finger design in one-size M. Its flexible material makes it suitable for most players. The price is for one individual glove.
