Why is Godspeed comparatively narrow?

Many current competition YoYos keep getting wider. With Godspeed, YoYoFactory deliberately takes a different approach.

The shape looks back to an era when speed and technical precision were especially important. Less unnecessary width means less material that needs to be accelerated during fast movements – while also giving you very clear feedback on whether your string hits are clean.

Speed still needs stability

A fast YoYo should not become nervous as soon as a combo gets longer. Godspeed was therefore tuned to retain enough stability and spin power to make it through fast technical sequences despite its agile character.

The result is not a universal superwide competition YoYo, but a clearly defined tool for players looking for speed, precision and flow.
