More catch zone when it really matters

At 50.09 mm wide, EXPLOSiON sits firmly in the extra-wide category of modern competition YoYos. That has a very practical advantage: there is significantly more room between the halves to catch the string during mounts, hops and fast direction changes.

This can be especially valuable on stage. Under competition pressure, not every throw and movement is perfectly clean, so the generous catch zone gives you more margin for error on demanding tricks.

7075 aluminum + stainless-steel rings

The body is machined from 7075 aluminum and paired with stainless-steel weight rings. This allows a significant amount of mass to be positioned toward the outer rims, giving EXPLOSiON its strong stability and powerful spin reserves.

Despite its width and power, the weight distribution is tuned to keep the YoYo agile and precisely controllable. That balance makes it particularly effective for long competition combos: plenty of confidence without unnecessarily slowing down fast movements.

Pixel Bearing + iRiNGS Response

The performance setup combines our string-centering Pixel Bearing with proven iRiNGS Response Pads. The bearing helps keep the string toward the center of the gap, reducing unwanted friction during long tricks.
