While many brands at the 2025 World YoYo Contest in Prague seemed to follow the motto “wider, faster, more expensive,” with bimetals easily pushing past the €150 mark, Magicyoyo took a different route. With the Z04 (admittedly not the catchiest name…), they’ve delivered a yoyo that’s not only impressively priced, but also genuinely powerful – both in looks and performance.

The design combines a clean, straightforward shape with stainless steel weight rings and transparent polycarbonate (PC) rims that double as visual highlight and rim protector. The result: speed, power, and a surprisingly smooth play feel – all in one.

Don’t let the brand name fool you: this is not your typical low-end Magicyoyo from the world’s largest online marketplace (complete with pre-rusted bearings…).
